The DeWitt Chamber & Development Company (DCDC) is a private, non-profit organization that represents more than 200 businesses and individuals in the DeWitt, Iowa area.  We are dedicated to improving the community’s economic and civic environment by supporting policies that cultivate a positive business climate through job creation and economic development.  We encourage and cultivate innovative ideas that will create an abundance of opportunities for those that want to live, work and play in our progressive community.

Our organization was formed on June 1, 2012, when the DeWitt Chamber of Commerce and the DeWitt Development Company (DDC) merged together. The Chamber and DDC were two successful organizations with similar goals of improving and developing our community. After much thought and consideration on behalf of both Boards of Directors, it was determined that these two quality organizations could do even more by working together as one. One organization working toward a common purpose and common goals, the most important of which is "What is best for DeWitt, Iowa?".

Mission Statement:

The DCDC’s mission is to lead, inform, advocate and advance business interests and promote community growth.  Our core focus is to support existing businesses, attract new businesses, and assist in enhancing the quality of life for our community.
